REPUBLICAN PRINCIPLES

I’m a Republican Because…

I BELIEVE the strength of our nation lies with the individual and that each person’s dignity, freedom, ability and responsibility must be honored.

I BELIEVE in equal rights, equal justice and equal opportunity for all, regardless of race, creed, sex, age or disability.

I BELIEVE free enterprise and encouraging individual initiative have brought this nation opportunity, economic growth and prosperity.

I BELIEVE government must practice fiscal responsibility and allow individuals to keep more of the money they earn.

I BELIEVE the proper role of government is to provide for the people only those critical functions that cannot be performed by individuals or private organizations, and that the best government is that which governs least.

I BELIEVE the most effective, responsible and responsive government is government closest to the people.

I BELIEVE Americans must retain the principles that have made us strong while developing new and innovative ideas to meet the challenges of changing times.

I BELIEVE Americans value and should preserve our national strength and pride while working to extend peace, freedom and human rights throughout the world.

FINALLY, I believe the Republican Party is the best vehicle for translating these ideals into positive and successful principles of government.

SOME OF OUR REPUBLICAN PHILOSOPHIES

Most of our Republican philosophies are a true reflection of traditional American values, not progressive idealism. It is the values of these Republican principles that will sustain Washington and America into the future and make our State prosperous and proud once again.

Republicans support:

Strong Families
Families intent on giving their children the hope of a better tomorrow, the promise of a safe and secure today and a deep appreciation and respect of our forefathers and their ability to create a from of government that has lasted over 240+ years.

Principled, Innovative Leadership
Principled leaders with an understanding of our heritage and a clear vision for the future. Leadership that is unwavering in the face of criticism, steadfast when confronted with adversity and committed to building a stronger State and Nation.

Limited Government
A government that promotes policies to unlock individual potential and unleash economic growth. Not a Government that tries to be all things to all people. A Government without undue and repressive personal or business income tax systems.

Honest Compassion
A society assisting those truly in need rather than a government trying to solve every problem by throwing more money at it, or creating a problem then offering a governmental based solution.

Opportunity For All
The opportunity to chart one’s own course, start a business, chase a dream, or build a life regardless of gender identity, race, marital status or religion.

Quality Education
An educational system that prepares children for the challenges of tomorrow’s workplace regardless of race, wealth or geographical location. Education is the bedrock of freedom and the gateway to opportunity not a bully pulpit for the socialist radicalization of our youth modeled after  communist doctrine.

Personal Responsibility
Individuals taking personal responsibility and accountability for their actions and a criminal justice system based on that idea.  With freedom comes responsibility. Teaching those same values to their families as well.

Freedom
Individual Freedoms that are God-given, affirmed and and defended by our Founding Fathers, articulated in the Declaration of Independence, and protected by the Constitution. Unwavering support and defense of our U.S. Constitution and all her Amendments.

Rugged Individualism
The entrepreneurial spirit of the Individuals and their families that led them westward, across this nation. Our ancestors ideas and dreams still live in the hearts of Americans today and solidify America as a world economic power to this day.

These are just some of our philosophies that live in the hearts and minds of Republicans today. We have only mentioned a few, there are many more.
